“So I had initially attempted to book a three day stay and upon doing so I had a staff member interrupt me and stopped me and tell me that they didn’t have availability or reservation availability for Saturday and therefore she would have to charge me individually for the first night, which was Friday to Saturday that raised the cost from $111 for each night for three nights coming out to be a total $$416.16 after all the charges and taxes, etc. however, after she did that erroneously because...

“We booked last minute due to weather changing our travel plans. We’ve stayed here before and found it excellent. We discovered upon arrival that the hotel was undergoing renovation but the staff were friendly and helpful and we still received everything we were expecting. Our room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was good. Didn’t take advantage of the shuttle but this is a great feature since parking downtown can be challenging and costly. Will definitely stay here again...

“The Hampton Inn in Madison is in a great location for attending events at the U or downtown. The check-in was quick and easy and the person helping us was so friendly. Love the onsite parking too! The room was spacious, the workout center is nice and the breakfast was very good.”
